Liquivision X1 Dive Computer
Liquivision X1 Dive Computer

The Liquivision X1 represents the cutting edge in technical diving computer technology. It has been called “the iPhone™ of dive computers” for its intuitive tap navigation, readability, compact size and open software platform, which come together to deliver an incredible diving experience. While the X1 is designed for technical divers, it is fully functional as a recreational or nitrox computer and offers the same enhanced diving experience.

Common Questions and Concerns

Q: What if I accidentally bump the Liquivision X1 and it changes menus?

A: The Liquivision X1 has several settings for tap sensitivity – from soft to hard. Additionally, the user can change the number of taps required to access the menus from three to five taps. So in essence, the range is from three soft taps to five hard taps.

Q: Can I read the Liquivsion X1 in a silt-out?

A: Yes, the X1 can still be read in a silt-out situation because of the unique OLED display. Torch-light reflecting off silt particles is what makes a liquid crystal display appear unreadable. To read your X1 in a total silt-out, turn your torch away from the unit. The OLED display will be readable because it is emitting light towards you.

Q: Do I have to buy PINs to access increased functionality?

A: No, all our software providers offer full functionality with a single purchase and download, including open or closed circuit functionality, air, nitrox and trimix, dive profile downloading, etc... There are periodic updates to the software, but they can be downloaded for free.

Q: What maintenance does the X1 require?

A: Not much. Give it a fresh-water rinse when you’re done diving, and put it on the charger. That’s about it.

Q: Does the screen bleach-out when viewed at an angle?

A: No, the OLED display is perfectly readable at any angle.

Liquivision X-Link CCR Interface for the Liquivision X1 Dive Computer
Liquivision X-Link CCR Interface for the Liquivision X1 Dive Computer

The Liquivision X-Link is the live PO2 monitoring connection for use with the X1. The X-Link’s construction is the same as the X1, consisting of an aluminum case, lithium polymer battery, and fully potted internal electronics for durability and flood-proofing. Information from the X-Link is transmitted to the X1 optically to ensure no failure points are introduced with the use of the live PO2 monitor.

The X-Link comes in two versions, Fischer Connector and Hardwired. Both can be connected to a rebreather and monitor up to 3 oxygen cells. Additionally, the X-Link offers the possibility of monitoring a fourth channel, such as CO2.

WARNING: The X-Link is designed as a secondary oxygen monitoring device only. It is not designed as a rebreather controller and should never be used as such. It should never be used as a primary or only oxygen monitoring device.

If you are using an electronic rebreather, your rebreather electronics should control the oxygen flow and constitute your primary oxygen monitoring device. The X-Link may only be used as a secondary monitoring device. It should never be wired to all the same cells as your rebreather electronics - you must have at least one cell that is only connected to your rebreather controller and at least one cell that is only connected to the X-Link - unless you have a manufacturer installed isolation circuit.
If you are using a manual rebreather, the display provided by your manufacturer should constitute your primary oxygen monitoring device. The X-Link may only be used as a secondary oxygen monitoring device. It should never be used as the only oxygen monitoring device. You should never use two X-Links as primary and secondary oxygen monitoring devices as this does not provide sufficient redundancy.
WARNING: This is not a complete list of warnings, disclaimers, or limitations of liability regarding the X-Link. Please read the X1 User Agreement and Warranty for the complete list.
