4. A - Self Managed Rescue. SARfinder® 1003 MKII Base Unit on Dive Boat receives ‘SOS’ signal from Alerting Unit, Alarm is raised, SARfinder® 1003 MKII Tracks ‘SOS’ Homing Signal, diver is rescued.

4. B - Coast Guard Supported Rescue. Local SAR are radioed and requested to recover Lost Diver who is wearing a 121.5MHz PLB. SAR vehicles track 121.5 MHz Alerting Unit Homing Signal Lost Diver is rescued.
